Dan & Chip Heath were interested in why some ideas are memorable and exciting while others are totally forgettable. What the brothers discovered were the six principles which united all the great presentations and pitches. Most important of these is the use of storytelling to convey a message which is clear and inspiring.

However, the ability to tell stories is a skill which requires knowledge and practice. In the seminar we will first look at the six principles and how they are incorporated into a presentation or pitch. We will then focus on storytelling, first examining the three key components which are necessary for an effective story and then participants will have the opportunity to practice telling stories. Finally, we will look at how it is possible to continue developing these skills to become a great public speaker.
